The Middle School Curriculum
The Middle School curriculum responds to the intellectual, physical, social, emotional, aesthetic, and spiritual needs of the young adolescent. Serving as abridge between childhood and adolescence, Middle School helps each student develop with integrity and confidence. The Middle School experience promotes academic achievement and an appreciation of McDonogh's heritage.
Middle School Honor Code
A true community is based on respect, responsibility, and honesty. The Middle School Honor Code nurtures and maintains an atmosphere of mutual trust among students, faculty, and staff, in which students develop integrity and strong moral character.
Individuals at McDonogh are expected to behave truthfully, honestly, and fairly at all times. McDonogh Middle School students commit to accepting the following responsibilities:
a. telling the truth in all situationsb. presenting one's own original work
c. obtaining permission before possessing another's property
d. recognize that I have unique value
e. treat each person with respect and care
