Fourth Graders Place Memorial Flags
In partnership with Greatest Good McDonogh, all fourth-grade students participated in a special service opportunity in honor of Memorial Day on Thursday, May 26. Directly following McDonogh’s Memorial Day Service, fourth-graders traveled to Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery where they placed American flags at the headstones of service members. Alumnus Ted Severe ’65 hosted the group at cemetery and taught the students about the tradition of placing memorial flags.
